Judith Beck Burgenland Zweigelt 2018 – Organic & Biodynamic Austrian Red Wine

Winemaking Craftsmanship

Sourced from the sun-drenched Kurzberg vineyard in Austria’s Burgenland region, this elegant Zweigelt red wine undergoes a meticulous carbonic maceration process. Hand-harvested grapes are gently destemmed, allowing whole berries to macerate untouched for 2-3 weeks under a protective CO₂ layer. This low-intervention approach preserves vibrant fruit aromas and yields silky tannins naturally. Fermentation completes in oak barrels, followed by 8-12 months of aging for refined complexity.

Why Choose This Wine?

  • Pure Expression of Terroir: Minimal intervention and biodynamic practices highlight the vineyard’s unique character.
  • Vegan & Organic Certified: Made with organic grapes and biodynamic principles, free from synthetic additives.
  • Balanced & Approachable: Bright red fruit notes with a velvety texture (12.5% ABV), perfect for pairing with roasted vegetables or charcuterie.
