“Sourced from some of the most prestigious vineyards in Carneros, this French-oak aged red is delicate and silky, with white-peppered raspberry, sweet tobacco, , and tomato leaf. Spiced tobacco leaf and sassafras add to its savory, earthy finish.”
Winemaker Notes:
“This classic Carneros region Pinot Noir offers a wide range of flavors and aromas due to ‘Clonal diversity’ that is achieved by carefully blending several vineyard lots, each retaining its unique clonal signature in the blend. The result is a complex wine with a rich bouquet of red cherries, blackberry, and hints of floral notes and baking spices. It has elegant flavors of strawberry and 2 to 5 years. cranberry, followed by a juicy and complex mouthfeel and a long, flavorful finish. This wine pairs nicely with lamb, duck, and grilled seafood and will improve with additional cellaring for 2-5 years.”
