Description

Discover the vibrant expression of Bedrock Wine Co.’s 2024 Sonoma Valley Sauvignon Blanc. Crafted from grapes nurtured in the distinctive rocky terrain of Sonoma County’s renowned ‘Valley of the Moon’, this exceptional white wine showcases the unique character of three premier sites: the north-facing slopes of Uboldi Vineyard in Kenwood, complemented by parcels from historic Bedrock Vineyard on the Agua Caliente bench and Judge Vineyard in Bennett Valley.

Our meticulous winemaking elevates this Sauvignon Blanc. Seventy percent underwent fermentation in primarily neutral French and Austrian oak barrels (only ~8% new oak), imparting a beautiful textural richness and subtle complexity. The remaining thirty percent was tank-fermented, preserving vibrant aromatics characteristic of the Musqué clone. This skillful blend results in a beautifully balanced California white wine.

Experience an elegant profile shaped by Sonoma’s cool vintage. Enticing aromas of ripe melon, fresh green papaya, and zesty citrus leap from the glass, layered over a core of bright, sappy fruit. The palate is refined and mineral-driven, with distinct flinty notes and crisp, refreshing acidity that promises superb drinkability.

Perfectly suited for warm weather enjoyment, this sophisticated yet approachable Sauvignon Blanc is your ideal companion for summer gatherings. Pair it effortlessly with grilled seafood, light salads featuring goat cheese, or simply savor its refreshing qualities on its own. Serve chilled (8-10°C / 46-50°F) to unlock its full aromatic potential.
