Description

Moshin Vineyards 2022 Chenin Blanc: A Solano County Masterpiece

Origin & Accolades:
Crafted by the esteemed Moshin Vineyards in Solano County, California, this 2022 Chenin Blanc is a testament to the region’s exceptional winemaking heritage. Awarded a prestigious Gold Medal and 94 Points at the 2025 Press Democrat North Coast Wine Challenge, this wine stands out for its unparalleled quality and complexity.

Flavor Profile:
Indulge in a symphony of flavors with every sip. This Chenin Blanc boasts white blossoms and mineral undertones, complemented by fleshy pineapple and melon notes. The winemaker’s notes highlight lemon curd, green apple, and grapefruit aromas, all balanced by a deep minerality and bright acidity that dance elegantly on the palate.

Winemaking Excellence:
To achieve this level of sophistication, Moshin Vineyards employed a meticulous process. Fifty percent of the old-vine Chenin Blanc was destemmed and soaked for two hours to extract maximum complexity from the grape skins. The remaining 50% were pressed whole cluster, ensuring a harmonious blend of flavors. Both lots were then fermented in 100% neutral French oak barrels, followed by six months of aging before being gravity-fed to the bottling room.

Perfect for Any Occasion:
Whether you’re hosting a dinner party or enjoying a quiet evening at home, this Chenin Blanc is the ideal companion. Its balanced acidity and rich flavor profile make it versatile for pairing with a variety of dishes, from seafood to poultry.

Alcohol Content:
With an alcohol content of 13.6%, this wine offers a smooth and enjoyable drinking experience without overwhelming intensity.
