Description

Domaine Nowack Champagne: A Taste of Biodynamic Elegance

Producer & Origin: Crafted by the esteemed Domaine Nowack, this exquisite Champagne hails from the heart of France’s renowned Champagne region.

Grape Variety: Made exclusively from 100% Pinot Meunier grapes, this non-vintage sparkler offers a unique and captivating flavor profile.

Terroir & Vineyard: Sourced from a prized 1-hectare plot named La Fontinette, nestled on the mid-altitude slopes of Vandieres. The vines, planted in 1965, thrive in brown sand and clay soils with a marine subsoil layer, approximately 1.5-2 meters beneath the surface. The southwest exposure at 100-120 meters above sea level ensures optimal ripening conditions.

Winemaking Process: Experience the art of spontaneous fermentation, a blend of small oak barrels and stainless steel, followed by ageing in small oak barrels for the vin clair. This Champagne is unchaptalized, unfined, unfiltered, and not cold stabilized, allowing it to naturally undergo malolactic fermentation in the spring. Aged on the cork for secondary fermentation using MCR for a remarkable 30 months.

Alcohol Content: With a balanced 12% alcohol content, this Champagne offers a refined and elegant drinking experience.

Biodynamic Farming: Embrace the purity of biodynamic farming practices, ensuring a harmonious relationship between the vineyard and its environment.

Indulge in the unique character and complexity of this Domaine Nowack Champagne. Perfect for special occasions or as a luxurious treat, it’s a testament to the winemaker’s dedication to quality and tradition.
