“The NV Brut Nature Solera is made from Pinot Noir, Meunier Blanc and Gris plus Chardonnay, Petit Meslier and Arbane.  The base wines spent one year on lees and were then blended with a perpetual release.  The nose has a gorgeous, lifted yeastiness that has the perfume of wet walnut skins, savory, earthy and fine at once.  The palate comes in with a fine mousse and an immediate miso-like saltiness that speaks of real umami depth.  Lovely concentration on the palate makes this a big mouthful of wine with supple foam, supple body and proper tension.  Very gastronomic, impressive, complex and oh so salty and moreish.  The properly long finish only serves to underline the stature of this wine.”
